A reader asks, “How could you allow such a disrespectful and blasphemous insinuation” about the president in referring to a recent political cartoon printed in the Times-Herald and the Reporter.
I say we could easily and truthfully say that. Very easily.
Regarding the hilarious joke concerning the wickedness in our White-out House, I would like to put a word in of support of your work and that of the brilliant cartoonist.
To answer the letter writer, I use the words of the letter writer himself, who so succinctly sums it up, writing that the cartoon insinuates: “The president of the United States is not concerned with fatalities, but instead, is only concerned for his base of supporters.”
I think POTUS is a criminal. I — and I’m sure many of your readers — agree that because of this gross fact, President Plague should be unceremoniously removed from office.
