Shueisha’s Manga Plus and V-Jump’s appendix preview page have confirmed the schedule for the upcoming chapter 2, leaving the fans disappointed.
So Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 2 is set to release on September 20, 2023 (Wednesday) for many countries and September 21, 2023 in Japan and other regions due to the time zone differences. Chapter 1 Recap: What Has Happened Until Now?
As we have to wait for a month to read Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 2, learn what has happened until now. With the power of Eida’s omnipotence, Kawaki used this power to rewrite Konoha’s history and convince everyone that he is Naruto’s wayward son. Moreover, he also convinced everyone that Boruto was the one who murdered Naruto, the seventh Hokage. But he ensnared Hinata and Naruto in his dimension. On the other side, Sarada Uchiha (a prominent Uchiha clan member in Naruto) activated her Mangekyo Sharingan and enlisted her father’s aid to save Boruto, who was now in an unfavorable situation as a traitor. This is where the time skip began.
Chapter 1 showcased the latest designs of our characters as there is a time skip of four years. In the absence of Naruto, we see that Shikamaru has now become the Eighth Hokage. The chapter kicked off with Sarada arguing that Boruto isn’t the traitor at the Hokage’s office. More about the Omnipotence power was revealed along with a glimpse of Naruto and Hinata trapped inside the dimension. A new version of Mitsuki was shown along with Kawaki, searching for Boruto (had left the village with Sasuke to undergo training during this period).
A sneak peek at Himawari (Boruto’s sister) with other kids was also shown in Chapter 1, and even she wanted to save Boruto. Later, with Code making his way to Konoha and threatening Sarada, we see Boruto make his comeback to Konaha village in an uber-cool style, stepping on Code’s face. Boruto, Kawaki, and Code will now face off after years. Their battle will continue in the upcoming chapters.
