Cartoon Network has a plethora of characters that they've created since the early '90s, so we thought it'd be fun to rank the top 10! Most of you probably remember spending your weekend as a child sitting in front of the TV and watching cartoons. Launched in 1992, Cartoon Network became a platform for what are arguably some of the best cartoon shows: Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, and Steven Universe, to name a few. And the iconic characters from those shows can still make us laugh today. So here are what we consider to be Cartoon Network's top 10 funniest cartoon characters.

10 DeeDee (Dexter's Laboratory)

DeeDee was the high-spirited, annoying sister of Dexter that was often the funniest character in the show. Her most notable line, "Oooo, what does this button do?" left many laughing as she pressed the button against Dexter's protests.

9 Courage (Courage the Cowardly Dog)

Courage was a lovable, cowardly dog that whose constant fear presents comical scenarios as he tries to protect his owners. While Courage relies on making noises rather than speaking words since he's a dog, the majority of his comedy results from his actions.

8 Jake the Dog (Adventure Time)

Finn, a 12-year old boy, travels with his friend Jake the Dog on magical adventures in a remote future in this cartoon. Jake the Dog's short attention span will have you laughing without fail, like the time he got to make a wish and chose to wish simply for a sandwich.

7 Ben Tennyson (Ben 10)

This show's popularity has grown immensely since the original show aired on Cartoon Network in 2005. In fact, many subsequent TV series and films have been produced because of Ben Tennyson's popularity. After finding an Omnitrix that allows him to turn into ten different aliens, he begins to fight aliens with the occasional goofiness that you'd expect from a ten-year-old.

6 Ed (Ed, Edd, n Eddy)

While all of the characters in Ed, Edd, N Eddy bring their own humor into the mix, Ed is the funniest of the show. He is the lovable schmuck of the group that produced lines like, "I AM BUTTERED TOAST!" and "I'm a woodpecker. Except with dirt."

5 Narrator (Powerpuff Girls)

While he may not have a physical form in the show, the narrator is certainly a character that stands out in Powerpuff Girls. He has dad-level punning abilities that leave you laughing even after the episode has ended.

4 Mandy (The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy)

Mandy is a snarky and sinister girl who, along with Billy, rope the Grim Reaper into becoming their companion after the Grim Reaper loses a bet. She has a dark sense of humor that produces classic lines, like "If you really are what you eat, I should become you by morning."

3 Numbuh 3 (Codename: Kids Next Door)

This show featured five prominent 10-year-olds that are part of a spy organization made up entirely of children. While many of the characters in the show stand out, Number, aka Numbuh, 3 is the most knee-jerking-hilarious one of the bunch. She is the most upbeat, quirky character, with some notable lines like "It's three quiet... It's one more than too quiet."

2 Johnny Bravo (Johnny Bravo)

Johnny Bravo is best known for his cheesy pick-up lines, most of which he uses on himself. On level with Ed's doltishness from Ed, Edd, n Eddy, he is a character that's easy to laugh with and laugh at.

1 Bloo (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)

Mac makes a deal with Madame Foster not to put his imaginary friend Bloo up for adoption after Mac takes Bloo to the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. In exchange, Mac has to visit Bloo every day, resulting in a number of hilarious scenarios in which we find the two friends and the other imaginary friends. Bloo stands out in this cartoon with some trademark lines like "It's hot in Topeka" from the episode "Squeeze the Day." Even as an adult, Bloo can still make you laugh like a child again.
