The first volume of the “Demon Slayer” manga series is currently available online for free.
Those looking to read the first book of the massively popular anime’s original story can now do so without having to pay a dime on either ComiXology, Google Play, iBooks, Kindle, or Nook.

“Demon Slayer” (also referred to by its Japanese “Kimetsu no Yaiba”) follows the story of Tanjiro, a young boy who becomes a demon slayer after his family is attacked by one of the bloodthirsty creatures.
To make matters even more complicated, his sister, Nezuko—the only one who managed to survive the attack—is herself turned into a demon during the incident. Together, the two siblings set off on a journey to not only find the demon behind the attack to exact revenge, but to also find a cure for Nezuko so that she may return to her human form.
Since the 2019 release of its anime adaptation, “Demon Slayer” has become a worldwide phenomenon, so much so that it resulted in a huge, beneficial economic boost for Japan.
