There will be no new chapter of “My Hero Academia” (or “Boku no Hero” in Japanese) published on the Viz Media site this week.
Chapter 311 of the manga will instead be made available next Sunday, May 9.
The newest chapters of “My Hero Academia” are released every Sunday in Viz’s Shonen Jump section. The three latest ones are always available to read for free until one is prompted to join the website by signing up.
“My Hero Academia” takes place in a world in which most people have “Quirks,” or special abilities that basically make them superheroes. When the story’s protagonist—Izuku Midoriya—is suddenly given a Quirk of his own after being born without one, he’s launched into multiple situations in which he’s forced to save the world (and those he cares about) time and again.
The original “My Hero Academia” manga series was adapted into an anime in 2016, heightening its popularity and presenting it to a global audience.
The anime is currently in its fifth season, with new episodes airing every Saturday.
Further information regarding Chapter 311 of the “My Hero Academia” manga remains pending. However, chapters 308, 309 and 310 are still currently available to read for free as of the writing of this post.
